This past week has been more of the same. Finally getting used to doing work again. I have to find more effective methods to study for most of my classes. I have a hybrid class that i hate so much, and I’m not doing well in, but i learned that as a freshman I can not drop any classes. Besides all that everything else has been well and i just cant wait to have another break.

Weekly Reflection
This last week went by pretty easy. The 5 day weekend was very much needed. I was able to spend quality time with friends and put in more hours at work. School related, there was not much work for me to do , which was nice. I just have to work on my speech for communications class. I am also looking forward to next Tuesday and Wednesday off.
Weeky Reflection
This last week was one of the best I’ve had at Baruch so far. I spent most of it counting down to the glorious 5 day weekend we just had, and I plan on spending the rest of this week counting down to having Tuesday and Wednesday off next week also! I’m in the groove of learning things at school and I’ve begun studying for tests which indicates that college has officially began. I plan on getting more involved in clubs and events as the year progresses, but for now, I would like to focus on my grades. However, I have been very relaxed at school so far and all my teachers have done a lot to make it that way.
Weekly Reflection
This week has overall been really easy and the 5 day weekend was something I was really looking forward to. I was able to spend time with my friends who don’t go to Baruch and it was great to catch up with them. Although the interview I tried really hard for ended up not going well and I got rejected from the business frat, I’m not going to let it bother me as I have my own team always with me so it didn’t feel that bad to not get in. I might try again next semester though but for now I really want to join Student Government or Team Baruch and also join a finance club if that is possible but I Don’t know if its too late on that. It’s really hard to find out info on clubs sometimes and I wish there was a newspaper or some sort that I could refer to and see what clubs are available.
Weekly reflection
For last week FYS class we had to write things about ourselves, and then present it; there were four people chosen for this week. I think this is a good way to improve one’s public speaking skills and leave aside fear of public.
Later on we watched a video in which talked about discourses, the video was very meaningful because we as people start judging others or treat them bad without knowing their sides of the stories. In the end we are all equal. In the video we could see that people would share something in common with at least one thing. I think it is very important to respect people not matter their differences because everyone is going through a rough time and if you don’t anything good to say it would be better to keep it quiet and let people live their lives as they desire.
Weekly Relfection
This week has been pretty good. I changed roommates and dorm rooms, which turned out better than I expected. My old roommate and I are very good friends and everything went well but our neighbors were having problems. We were both friends with both of the girls so we mutually decided to switch. I like my switch because I have a bigger room and my new roommate is one of my best friends. I like having a bigger room because it is easier keeping everything organized and neat. In my old room, it was hard to stay tidy because there was nowhere to put anything, besides my desk which looked messy overtime. I am happy I made the switch and hope it continues to go well with my new roommate!
Weekly Reflection
Last week was very productive in terms of me getting out there. I had two interviews, one for the Office of Student Life (work study) and the other for Alpha Kappa Psi. In my opinion, both interviews went fairly well. I answered with honesty, as well as keeping in mind the lesson we learned in FYS last Tuesday (culture & ethnical values). Doing so I was able to answer with confidence thinking of my root and my values whether that be personal or professional values. Furthermore, last week, USG gave out rice balls, and as a volunteer, for every rice balls, I said, “Have a nice day!”, and that was something I never tried before. Usually, I would just ask them which one they want and then go on to the next person (since it is often very busy). Thus, I think that’s how I am going to do things now. More USG updates, I got my own USG profile picture! I’m very thankful to have met these amazing people and I look forward to working closely with them for the next years. Other than that, I have a Psychology, Music, Calculus test coming up. I have never taken Psychology before so I am kind of stress out by the amount of information needed to be remembered.
