The Farmers’ Plight

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_jAAGe883o

This video is a group of students making a video of farmers in the 1920s. Though this video doesn’t directly relate to The Farmers’ Plight as mentioned in the book, it does utilize the silent film style of movies made back in the 1920s. It’s clear that this video was made in the modern day in order to depict a day of farmers back in the 1920s. Though the video doesn’t directly represent or show any historical change, the farmers’ plight does lead to the population increase in the west (Los Angeles) and is connected with the economic depression in the rural part of America in the 1920s.
