Fight for the right to live in freedom

This song was written and recorded by Paul McCartney in response to the September 11 attack in 2001. In this song, McCartney proclaims that he will fight for the right to live in freedom. When compared to the 1971 hit Imagine by John Lennon, one can conclude that this song is more aggressive. It is also important to note that the origins of this song (terrrorism) was something that was not really a threat to the US during Lennon’s time. Imagine was a reaction to the war that was going on back then but today Americans face a very different threat to their freedom, the threat of the terrorist.
