Sound of Freedom

“Sound of Freedom” by Bob Sinclair is about the freedom of being yourself and not worrying about what others say. Especially in the society like today where appearance makes up a big part of one’s impression, everyone is trying to create and give oneself a better image to show others. I think this song is telling us to truly be ourselves and break out of that “prison” to find freedom.

“Sound of Freedom” by Bob Sinclair differs from my previous song, “Star Spangled Banner” by Jimi Hendrix. Although both songs are about freedom the latter revolves around political issues and focuses more on freedom from war and gaining peace where, as mentioned above, “Sound of Freedom” is finding and being true to oneself.
