Hello Baruch Administrators, Alumni, and Faculty. We are grateful for being given this time at the annual Bernard Baruch Dinner to address certain issues that have risen throughout the years. As many of you already know, the elevators in the Field building is in dire need of some repairs. Baruch can also benefit by adding a little more greenery to its campus and easing the commute to and from the dorms. We have come up with a few suggestions to these issues and I hope you can take these under consideration.

The Food Sucks!
Esteemed administrators and faculty, fellow students, and members of the Baruch community, the food sucks! It’s too expensive. It’s not good quality. It’s not what we paid for. It should be better. Don’t you hate how we are always looking at the same food, like being trapped in this glass building? They make us swim around in this giant fishbowl! Heck, they pay so much to make this campus look so dicey, they don’t even make a large effort on us. We drown in our tuition and can’t even afford good food. Stop buying from the cafeteria! Make them pay for making us miserable !!
The Food Sucks!
Esteemed administrators and faculty, fellow students, and members of the Baruch community, the food sucks! It’s too expensive. It’s not good quality. It’s not what we paid for. It should be better. Why should it be better? We spend way too much for us to be left with this food. With all the money that Baruch accumulates we should either get better quality food or receive free meal vouchers. It is a very simple problem with a very simple fix.
The Food Sucks!
Esteemed administrators and faculty, fellow students, and members of the Baruch community, the food sucks! It’s too expensive. It’s not good quality. It’s not what we paid for. For a school like Baruch, with such a prestigious program as Macaulay, we deserve better! We need more options, and the prices should not be as high! This needs to change! Fulfilling the dietary needs and wants of the students will be beneficial to the school. Students will be spending money on food in the cafeteria, rather than the restaurants around the school. Give us the food we want and the school will be better for everyone! Students will be able to focus better, they won’t be coming in late to class, and the school would be making a great profit. This issue has to be addressed now! It can be implemented in a month if enough people are heard.

After all, this is a commuter school! There are no nearby dorms where we can make our own food, so it should be provided for us!
Reagan speech
President Reagan farewell speech was one hell of a speech. His words of wisdom brought peace within everyone listening to the speech. He spoke a lot about national morality and the economy. These two topics were most meaningful for Reagan. Reagan was very prideful and loved the spotlight. Nothing held Reagan back from speaking his mind. He mentioned the “city upon a hill” excerpt and explained how people will come together as a whole and share the same moral values. This was very vital part to his message. Reagan told the people what they wanted to hear and sent a strong message to all.
