
Administrative Coordinator
With a B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education Concentration, Alfred Waller started out as an Assistant Director for the Parkchester Baptist Church Summer Day Camp and Youth Developer for Girl Scout Council of Greater New York where he helped develop and implement recreational and educational programs for children ages 5-17. While working for the Admissions Recruitment team at the CUNY Welcome Center, Alfred received an M.P.A. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He was the Operations Manager for CUNY Startups housed at Baruch College which helps propel student-founded startups across 24 CUNY campuses. Alfred joined The Center for Teaching and Learning in 2017, and is in charge of managing day-to-day business operations, recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes. He assisted in developing and expanding the CTL Teaching Innovations Faculty Showcase which recognizes and highlights faculty for their excellence and innovation in teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic.
