  • His books talk about love, family, forgiveness, faith and character formation.
  • Flying over the swamp is one of the strongest books that he wrote.
  • It was published in 1995 and re-published in 2013.
  • Flying over the swamp is a book that talks about overcome adversities such as rape, alcoholism and violence. The novel tells the story of 3 people: Lisbeth, Zahid and Alma. Each one of them with their own problems tries to help each other.

-Zahid, me asusta tu mirada. ¿Qué te pasa? ¿Tiene algo que ver Alma conmigo?

-Si. es decir, no sé… Cuéntame por favor como superaste tu problema de embarazo no deseado. Quiero volver a escuchar la historia. Necesito repasar lo que puede sentir una mujer rechazada, en su mas terrible soledad.

 

-Zahid, you’re scaring me. What’s wrong? Does Alma have something to do with me?

De improviso viró a la derecha y se internó por una barriada oscura. Después de dar varias vueltas sin la mas elemental precaución, se detuvo justo frente a una pareja que se abrazaba.
