Last year Baruch received a $221,275 grant to work with 21 faculty to change 40 courses to a “zero textbook cost” or OER (open educational resource) course. The CTL has received an additional $200,000 in this fiscal year to continue work on this project. At this informal gathering, select faculty who participated in the
OER Initiative will be speaking about their processes as they planned and implemented their zero textbook cost courses. Come and get some insight into using OER/zero cost materials and get to know other faculty who are participating in the OER Initiative. While you are invited to stay for the entire showcase, you are welcome to stop by for part of it.
