CUNY Innovative Teaching Academy (CITA) Summer Series 2022: Creating Inclusive Classrooms: Adult Learners, Andragogy and Active Learning

Join us for a workshop on “Adult Learners, Andragogy, and Active Learning.” This workshop is an introduction to teaching and working successfully with adult learners and provides access to a newly developed, fully online three-module professional development workshop. If you are an instructor in a credit-bearing course, this workshop is for you; if you are an advisor who works with adult learners from every sector, this workshop is for you; and if you are a director or leader who manages students or faculty who work with adult learners, this workshop is for you. With a focus on equity, this workshop prepares you to provide appropriate supports so that every adult learner can successfully access the content of the courses in which they are enrolled. The strategies and techniques you will learn in this workshop are valuable in that they will enable you to better meet the needs of all learners.
