Synchronous and Asynchronous Ways to Build Classroom Community

This workshop presents a range of “asynchronous” and “synchronous” examples of assignments and activities that build community in an online class. An interactive discussion then guides faculty through translating some of the ways they usually build classroom community in person into an online format.
