Teaching the Whole Student Series: Creating Classroom Community

In conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month in March, and in response to the struggles students and faculty continue to experience in our challenging era, the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Counseling Center are co-sponsoring two events this spring:  

Session 1: Creating Classroom Community, Tuesday, March 5, 12:30-2:00 (Zoom) 

Join us as we discuss and share ideas about how to foster a sense of connection and community in your classrooms to help students feel seen and engaged in their learning. We invite you to share your own ideas and questions in this important conversation.

Session 2: Trauma-Informed Pedagogy, Tuesday, April 2, 12:30-2:00 (Zoom)

Join experts from Baruch’s Counseling Center and faculty colleagues to learn about trauma-informed pedagogy and how to better support your students with challenges that affect their learning.
