  1. I like ur stasis theory. We had some of the same ideas since we both had the same topic. You had a lot of different ideas that I didn’t even think of and it was helpful that you explained what your essay was going to include. Very good job and I hope your essay came out the way you wanted it to.

  2. Raina, I really enjoyed reading your stasis theory worksheet for your topic of racism. I think you have great ideas for each of the five categories and I can’t wait to see how you build upon them in an essay! For your question of value, I think it would be really interesting to read about the contributions African Americans have made towards the advancement of our country. I think there is such a powerful narrative in that because it shows that in spite of everything the Black community has gone through, they have been able to overcome obstacles and contribute much to American society.

  3. Your topic is very interesting to me. I think the only thing you may want to consider is maybe squeezing into your essay is how there have been those in the groups that had enslaved them or were racist against them (Ex: white people) who had helped African Americans. This way, you can keep the attention of those who had slave-owning or racist ancestors and convince them more so of your thesis. Anyways, your paper looks like it will be very informative. Can’t wait to read it.
