Hello! My name is Walter Lee. I am shy at first but when you get to know me I can be very talkative. Well first of all I am an ABC (American born Chinese). I know how to speak Cantonese fluently. Two of my most favorite thing to do is, sleep and eat. I just love sleeping but I think I won’t have as much time sleeping because of the amount of work in college.
My top three concerns in college are to get good grades, to have good time management and to meet new people. I hope to get good grades in class and in order to do that I must know how to manage my time more wisely. I don’t have a very good time management. In high school I procrastinated a lot and I hope I won’t be the same in college. I hope to meet more new people as the year progresses.
My Baruch College experience will be different than high school because in college there is a lot more responsibility. In high school, the teachers would always make sure you are listening in class and tend to write everything on the board. Well in college, professors will not care if you take notes or listen in class. Another difference is that in college there is a lot of freedom. There are a lot of breaks in between classes and it is up to me to use these breaks wisely.
I think I will be more responsible and have a better time management by the first year of college.
