Da Bears!

What’s up FRO1000, im doing this blog an hour before it’s due like a boss. So i generally think of myself as having a good personality, but im also known for being a sarcastic asshole so im sorry in advance if in the future i piss you off. Anyway, my two true passions in life are cars and sports. I guess i’ve just always been in love with cars ever since i was a kid, and actually owning one for yourself is pretty awesome. To quote Bernie Mac from the first Transformers movie “Underneath one of those hoods is your first enchilada of freedom” and i find that to be very true. My other interest is sports, mainly football(Im a die-hard JETS fan). I feel that watching sports is a way for me to kind of escape my life for a few hours, and just wrap my head around the players and the game.

Im looking forward to my first year here at Baruch, but if there is one thing i can complain about so far its the lack of sleep -_-, but i guess i’ll get used to that. Some concerns i have of my first year year are simple.
1- Failing a class. I feel incredible pressure to do well here in college, and failing a class would suuuuuuck
The other two go along with number 1 but are still concerns
2-My time management. In high school i spent alot of time doing stupid stuff when i could have been doing some productive stuff. Now that im in college i got to put my work before everything else =(
3- My last concern is actually being able to do the work. In high school most of the time i didn’t have to study like a maniac for a test or do alot of work, but now that im in college i have to be prepared for each class.

I think that college wont drastically change who i am, but it’ll definitely change the way i do some things. As a college student, your the only one responsible for yourself and i feel that that freedom  will help me to become more independent of others help. Another thing about me that will change is my work ethic, before i was able to procrastinate but now that i’ve seen the real world, in order for me to succeed i have to put in the time and effort.

I’m looking forward to  my time here at Baruch. See you guys around!
