1. I am an 18 year old boy from Brooklyn who is interested in business. I like to play baseball and other sports. I’m interested in politics and the world economy.
2. My major concerns for freshman year are to get good grades, make new friends and to get involved with the different activates on campus. Getting a high GPA is a priority for me so that I can get into the business school and because employers want someone who did well in college. Making new friends is important because I’m not just here to learn but to form friendships that may last a lifetime. By getting involved on campus I will be able to make more friends and feel that I’m a part of something.
3. My college experience will be different from high school because the work load is greater and I will have to be more disciplined in college. I also think that in college I will have more freedom and more responsibility. However, I think that college overall will be more enjoyable.
4. My first year at college will make me more mature. Since, I will be responsible for all of my assignments and because I will have to get used to different professors policies. Another way that I believe my first year of college will change me is by making me realize how grateful I should be to be able to go to college and the importance of doing well.
