Who Am I?

I am a 18 year old guy from Staten Island. I want to do well in college and get good grades, and become successful through college. I like to hang out, chill, and have a good time, as well as meet some new people.  I also enjoy playing football, and the guitar.
My top concern about my freshman year is maintaining a high enough GPA to not get dropped. I need to do well so I can keep my current scholarship. If I fall below a certain mark they’ll take it away. My second concern is to meet new people. I want find some nice people to chill with and have a good time. Another concern I have is have a decent job after college. I hear stories that some people have bachelor’s degrees and no being able to do anything with it. I don’t want that to happen, so I’m going to have to network and get good internship and work experiences.
One thing that makes my Baruch College experience different than high school is that I have a lot more responsibility. I can go to class if I want, and no one is forcing me. I have to remind myself to do the work because the teacher don’t care if you it or not. Also, I can do what I want during the breaks. I didn’t have this kind of freedom in high school.
I think my first year of college will change me in that it will make me want to be more responsible, and be more open to all kinds of people. It’ll make me see where my priorities lie, and if I actually handle the stress, but I’m looking forward to it.
