a. Tell us who you think YOU are!

I am a friendly person that just likes to socialize and hang out. I am relaxed and think very importantly of family, friends and other relationships.

b. Share your top 3 concerns about your freshman year at Baruch College and explain why.

1. Getting lost!!. I came from a suburban area in New Jersey and although New York is really close, I did not have many chances to visit. Commuting from Jersey was tough with the fact that I got lost many times my first few days. =P

2. Time Management. I have a problem that I always seem to procrastinate when there was a project, hw, presentation in highschool. I just hope that it doesn’t transition to Baruch although I feel as if it already has.

3. Exams. Unlike Highschool, where there is other grading criteria, classes in college usually uses only the midterm and final exam to determine a student’s grade so there is alot of pressure to cram and cram for the exams.

c. So far, what do you think will make your Baruch College experience different from your high school experience?

The difference is definitely the freedom that I have now compared to highschool. I have to learn to become more independent and depend on myself more often to get to class in time, handing in assigments on time, etc since I got my own apartment with my friend with no adult supervision.

d. How do you think your first year at College will change you?

My first year at college is going to change me in many ways. First I will be more independent and able to take care of myself. I will be very accustomed to living in a suburban environment compared to the urban side at home. I will learn to become more responsible and grow as a young adult.
