Hi, my name is Brandon Djourabchi. I am a jew residing in Great Neck, New York. I went to a private school is Uniondale for High School. After High School I took a year off and studied abroad in Israel. I think i’m a person who’s going through college trying to find himself, and to figure out who it is that i really am.
My number one concern is the work, I am a bit overwhelmed by all the work.
My number two concern is my time management, and whether or not i’m using my time wisely.
My number three concern is the commuting. I commute from great neck daily, so that basically takes up 2 hours of my day just commuting.
The thing that will make my Baruch College experience different from high school is all the freedom. I want to know if i’m going to use my time wisely or just joke around like i did in highschool. I want my college experience to be different than high school. I want it to be my pathway to a career. I’m planning on interning next semester, so i’m excited to see how that works out.
I think college will make me a much more mature person. It will teach me to be more independent and not to always rely on others when i need something done. I will learn to work hard and be successful doing it.
