I think…I am a girl who loves to have fun and can be immature sometimes but when it comes down to important things I can get pretty serious.
My top three concerns about my freshman year:
1. Wanting to join multiple clubs but finding it hard since they are all during club hours.
2. My grades
3. Completing homework the way the professor wants it done because sometimes I tend to interpret things differently and end up doing the wrong thing.
I think the major difference is I am not going home to my parents, I’m not waiting for dinner to be made, and I’m not waiting for my mom to do laundry. I actually feel more independent. The work hasn’t been terrible so it’s comparable to high school’s. The commuting makes it feel like high school, except instead of a car, I’m taking a subway.
I think my first year here will teach me lots of things. We learn from our mistakes and from the weeks I’ve been here I’ve made plenty. It’ll definitely teach me about spending my money wiser, not procrastinating, and getting around using public transportation.
P.S since I love photography here’s a picture I took my senior year of high school. It won first place in my school and was at an art gallery show at C.W Post 🙂
