2 study tips that work best for me – Jason Shaltiel

The study tips from SACC is a list of things students should do while taking a test. After reading the list I found two tips that work best for me; budget your time and allow time at the end to check carelessness. One of my biggest problems while taking an exam is budgeting my time on each question. This is a problem because when i spend to much time working on a single question it hurts my grade because i will have less time to spend on other questions and little or no time to spend checking my answers after the exam. If i pace myself properly on each question and skip the ones that i believe may take me more time it will help my overall grade because i will have more time to answer other questions and i will have time to go back and answer the questions i skipped.

I also found the study tip of allowing time at the end to check careless to be important because often time during math exams i make careless mistakes such as forgetting to change a negative sign into a positive one which can ruin my entire answer, if i use the tip and go back and check my answers it is possible that i can find my mistakes and correct them. Both these study tips are important to me because I practice them every time I take a test and I will continue to practice them throughout the rest of college so that I can achieve high scores on my exams.
