Monologue

Since I couldn’t think of much to write I’m just going to tell you my adventure from home to the school.

I wake up really early in the morning. Mondays and Wednesdays at 6, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8. It’s not too bad cause that’s what I was used to waking up during high school anyways. I quickly brush, shower, eat, and I’m out the door. A short walk from my house until I get to the train station. I get on the F train by the avenue N station in Brooklyn. Hopefully the train is empty so I could get my corner seat, put my feet up, and fall asleep. Around an hour passes when I instinctively peak at the electric monitor with the names of the stops. Thus far I’ve never overslept and missed my 23rd st. stop. I finally get out walk upstairs ad take a deep breath of fresh air. A nice 10 minute walk follows. I could transfer to the six and get all the way to the school’s block, but for now with the nice weather, I actually enjoy the relaxing walk.

When I finally get there I see the ongoing, never ending construction taking place. I find the open entrance, take a step inside, fumble my wallet around until I get out my ID card, and finally swipe myself in. The escalator is of course not functioning so its the stairs for me. If I get the chance I’ll obviously take the elevator; yes it actually works! I get up to my desired floor wander for a bit until I finally find my class. I step in and immediately find my way to the back to get a seat there. Hopefully the seat right beside me is empty so I could put my arm up, since the desks here are flat out tiny. I finally get comfortable, hopefully I didn’t show up early cause I hate waiting, and the class actually starts. Right then and there is my cue to fall asleep.
