Who do you think you are?

Going into college, I was a carefree young adult who didn’t have much experience of the real world and was just going wherever life would take me.  However, throughout my first two months in college, I have learned to be a lot more goal oriented and have truly recognized the value of hard work and dedication. I have my goals set in life and I am trying to work towards them. Baruch has been a major part of this recent maturation. One thing j have realized is the concept of survival of the fittest, as there are very few that make it big.  Being only two months into college, one of the biggest concerns I have had is time management, where I have to manage  classes, homework, work, family life, social life, sleep and some relaxing time for yourself all in 168 hours per week. And on top of that, commuting is probably the biggest problem of all. Three hours of being stuck in public transportation a day, it only makes things worse. However, luckily for me, I feel I am doing a decent job right now with that by using that commuting time wisely. Also, I am trying to learn as many things as i  can because I am also learning that knowledge never goes wasted. Otherwise, I feel I have had a rewarding college experience thus far and  hope it only gets even better!
