I thought that our visit to the Rubin Museum was actually really interesting. Since I am of South Asian decent, I was able to identify with many of the sculptures that came from the Indian region. I also found it fascinating how Indian culture and religion was described on the small plaques next to the individual statue, even though it differed from what I was taught growing up. I also thought that it was really cool that the museum used to be an old tenement building.
