The Rubin museum we visited the other day was more interesing than I thought. I did always want to see Buddha statues in person and I was able to. I really didnt expect much anything but after seeing the statues and other paintings in person was a whole different experience for me. Out of all the statues and paintings the one that grabbed my attention was the Mask that people wore for ritual dances. The mask was really big and although it was for ritual dances it seemed too scary and intimidating. Also, when i was looking around the paintings I felt like I was in China because I saw some movies which the background was based on China and there were many paintings and statues in the movie. It was a bit unusual but it was alot more fun and exciting than i thought it would be.
