I thought the trip to the Rubin Museum was a very interesting window into the arts. It was also nice to learn that as Baruch students, we have special privileges at this museum which is a nice touch.
The art works were very attractive and exotic. I’m used to going to museums like ‘Natural History’ and wasn’t familiar with such interesting and unusual expressions of art.
The one downside was there was limited time and by going in large groups, it can be a little distracting. I wasn’t able to fully get into the experience as much as I could have. But overall, it was a learning experience and showed me that there are many things to see in museums. As a person who doesn’t really go that often to museums, this was a welcome lesson.
