After attending the mandatory workshop titled “Between Two Worlds”, I realized that not
everyone is as lucky as we are in the United States. This workshop showed a documentary that talked about a film that showed the struggle in Israel. The film had shown how people are willing to stand up for what is right and stand up for Israel. The problem was that the film had viewed Israel in a negative way and caused an angry reaction from the Israeli people. People were upset when certain facts that they believed to be false were shown in the film. The saddest part of the film was when it showed how the tanks ran over a girl named Rachel who was protesting peace in Israel. I believe that everyone should know the positives and the negatives about the country. Once the negatives are identified, we should work towards solving those problems.
