Reflection

- My experience at Baruch lived up  to my expectations in the way that i learned so much and i was expecting to be around an environment where i would always be learning. I also expected college to be a change from high school, and that also was the case. It did not live up to my expectations in the fact that i thought i was going to be more involved in school activities which wasn’t the case. It exceeded my expectations in the fact that i didnt expect to meet so many new people as i did in my first semester.

- I think my first semester at Baruch went pretty well. I adjusted to the new way of learning rather quickly, and i really focused on my grades and school work. I now know what to focus on and which areas are important for next semester.

-The thing that I would do differently is that i which i got more involved in my school’s activities, and i wish i joined a Baruch club or team. Secondly, I wish I could of better managed my time, whereas I woud’nt be as stressed as i as over the course of my first semester at Baruch.

- The way i have changed since i first started at Baruch is that I have became very more independent and more mature. I now understand the essence of responsibility and the fact that it is up to me to get things done, unlike in high school where there was always someone there to help me out. I also believe that i now better understand how important education is, and how vital education is for one to succeed in the real world.
