Community service is giving back to your community. Whenever I have free time I attend walks such as aids walk, march of dimes and breast cancer walk. I also tried to raise money to donate to help find a cure. I do not mind at all vounlteering I enjoy it and the feeling is great knowing that you are heping others by taking time out of your life and putting it to better use. I also help tutor children to enhance their reading and writing skills at a day care center every friday. Helping others is something I love to do, some kids parents are not always around so they appreciate having peer mentors like myself. They would always let us know how thankful they are having us to help them. I’m thankful myself for being a role model to these students, they inspire my in many ways and from my experience working with children I have grown as a more confident individual.
