Charity is important and everybody should learn to give to the less fortunate and help those who need it. Luke’s Wings is a foundation that generates money to help wounded soldiers reunite with their families. No soldier deserves to feel worthless or unloved once they are sent away to war and this organization strives to stop this from happening. This is a special time of the year, considering that Christmas is near and Luke’s Wings is trying to raise $100,000 by December 25, 2011 so that they can send 31,500 wounded soldiers home for the holiday season. This is a completely realistic target and just to imagine all the joy we can bring to the lives of families that deserve makes it sound even more worth it. Fund raising for a great cause and remembering about our soldiers is important, especially because a lot of us forget about them because we don’t have loved one’s in a different country fighting for our freedom.
