Monolog
Is that who I think it is?
Im not 100% sober but im pretty sure that is her.
…10 minutes later…
Is this real life?
She is in the seat next to me. 2B.
She seems so normal.
Maybe that isn’t her.
This girl is sitting next to me reading People Magazine.
As the coach passengers walk by, she is hiding her face.
Is she just sick or is she famous?
She seems so normal. So un-celebrity like.
The flight attendant asks us by name what we want to drink.
‘Mr. Reeder, do you want champagne, orange juice or water?’
I choose sparkling water.
‘How about you Ms. Bilson?’
It is her. And she is so normal.
Why do people put these seemingly normal people on pedestals. It makes no sense.

Second Workshop
The second workshop was for making the transition from student to professional. It was aimed more at the juniors and seniors who are preparing for internships and jobs but their was still some useful information presented. The workplace is a lot different from the classroom and it is good to be prepared.

Baruch Voices IV
Rather reluctantly, I attended Voices IV with my fellow classmates. Luckily, it was not as boring as I had expected it to be and I actually enjoyed several of the monologues. While some of the performances were emotional and heartfelt, others were funny and humorous. Overall, all of the performances were decent and entertaining.

Who am I?
I am me. Yes that’s rather cliche but see if I care. I hate describing myself but ill give it a shot. I’d have to say that I’m far from normal. Get to know me and you’ll know what I mean. I’m introverted and love my alone time. I’d like to say I am outgoing and confident but inside I’m always doubting myself and what I’m doing.
One of my main concerns for freshman year is time management. I am a chronic procrastinator and hope for my own sake (as well as for my GPAs sake) that I do well at getting stuff done when it needs to get done. My second main concern is keeping a decent social life. When the school year rolls around, my priorities are such: 1. Sleep 2. School 3. Friends. The friend tend to get neglected and thus my social life turns to shambles. It results in me being on grouchy kid. My third concern is to have fun. If I’m not having fun every once in a while, Im not gonna do well in school. Plain and simple.
College is not much different from high school except that you get to start studying things that interest you and the stakes are now a lot higher. Other than that, it is pretty much just more of the same.
I think the first year at Baruch will further mature me as a student and bring about many positive new experiences.. Hopefully Ill deal with stress better and get all my work done on time.
