My first semester of Baruch College has been good so far. I learned new things like deliverate and integration. These are difficult, but for me they are fun to found out the answer and understand those things. My math class are exceeded my expectations but I like it. if I could do my first semester all again, I would like to study or understand math things, at this semester sometime I had mistake to study to which I have to.

In the end, I think I changed since my start at Baruch College. I became resposebility and I understand English better than firsst time, maybe.  I learned many things in this semester. My experience in my first semester was a great experience.

1. I think act of helping people and to be glad based on to do community service are the value and importance of engaging in it. Maybe people help others because they want something from them, like glad, happyness, or smile. 2. I think for the leadership, it is important to doing community service projects with group. And relationship will coming up inevitably, if there is leadership there is relationship for everyone, who are doing this projects. 3. I think people should need wome benefit with doing something. So, I think some small thing to give them, who are volunteering, and stimulate to doing those things. Small thing is should not use a lot of money, we can give them picture, origami, flower, or etc. Maybe it is little different with “volunteerism” but I think it can boost wolunteerism and civic participation on campus.

Who am I? It is the first question in the first class. I’m Mai Matsumoto, I can say only this for sure. I’m not sure who am I but I think I’m I. i won’t be other person and I can’t be a other person. I’m only I.
My top three concerns are; Can I follow the class with understanding, others can understand my English, and class which I want to take, accounting. My English isn’t good, I can understand almost but by minute I can’t, I wish I can understand. I can make my decision by Japanese but it is difficult to me to change English. I wish I will take accounting in future, so I want to take class which will relate with accounting.
I think own power will make more important in Baruch college than in high school. Parents won’t be relating with our schedule or school anymore.
My English isn’t good, but I think my first year at College will change my English to be good.
