how has it been so far?
i think it has been good, baruch is an exelent space, outside the classrooms and inside of them.
i think the gym is the best thing, strbucks, the pool, all i need to succed is here.
My classes are good, english is good, it gives us a chance to express things we only think about. my math is a turoting class, i have learned alot , hopefully enough to pass the admission t.est.
im kind of worried about the test, but i have confidence ill pass.
my peers are good, we all have our personalities, my fro cass i like, its like that individual attetion we are all used to having since highschool.
one of the reasons my english teacher is criticized is because she doesnt give that individual attetion, but i guess we can get used to that.
its a great thing to be in this school, i want to be here longer. i know i can make it.

When I was in high school I did not put any effort in school. i was lasy and i wasted my potential. i did not do the work given to me because it bored me, but i knew i was capable of doing it.
Now that I am in college, I’m going to apply myself and show effort in school so that i can find out where i can go and what i can really do if i apply myself in everything I do. College is motivating me to do better; I want to show myself that I am better than how i was in high school. I feel that the level of work here at Baruch College is more demanding and I like the challenge.
I am always looking to improve now, and I’m going to try not to waste my potential anymore. It is never too late to start working hard and start using all the intelligence life gave me and turn it into something good.

what do i think community service is?.
I think community service is how people help others in their community, some people might do it because it feels good to help others. Other people do community service instead of going to jail, as part of their punishment. I know people do not get paid to do community service, it is a volunteer job. I always think of helping senior citizens or other people in need when i think of community service. I also think of convicts smashing rocks or cleaning the highway. I think doing community service may look good on job applications, but i am not sure about that.
Have i ever done any community service?
I have never done any community service, i am totally new to it, but i do have a general idea of what community service is, and i know what to expect.
I know i am going to be doing it soon with my class in order to pass. I would like to volunteer for something fun, or at least something i find interesting, but for now i am just going to do whatever the class sings me up for because it is a requirement to pass the class.

Who do i think i am? my name is Andres Zapata Gutierrez , im 18 years old and i think of myself as a person who has a lot to learn.  i have big goals in life, im young, and i still have a long way to get to where i want to be in life, but i will get there.  I want to play soccer for Baruch college, be athlete of the month,  i also want to have fun and make a lot of new cool interesting friends, and maybe join a club that i find interesting. I already have my major in mind, i want to do advertising, But maybe i will change my mind along the way, who knows. There is always room for new ideas.

What are my top three concerns at the moment in Baruch college? My top 3 concerns in college right now are obviously doing good in school, Being able to keep up with the work that is required to pass each course ,always make new friends and giving it my best at everything i do, because i do not want to slack like i did back in high school. I still think i deserve to be in Baruch college even tho i am a part time student and i am being tutored for math. Math has always been boaring to me, but now that i actually pay attention in class im kind of starting to realize it is easy, i just have to pay attention and practice.

How do i think Baruch college is different from high school? I think Baruch is different from highschool becuse now we get to explore different people with different opinions, there is a lot more diversity and i actually see the point of doing good in school; I believe Good education can help me get a good job in the future. I also think that the courses here at Baruch college are harder, and more difficult and a lot more challenging than those i took in high school.
How do i think the first year at Baruch college will change me? the first year at baruch, i think will change me for the better, becuase now i cant be as lazy as i was back in high school. I also think that all the new things i learn in my classes are going to be useful, the point of being in college and getting a higher education is to learn tons of new stuff and to improve in every possible way.

i did not mean to make the blog so short the first time, i think this is really helping me reflect on my goals.
