So far I am really liking baruch. Experience wise, everything has been good. Trying to get involved more, by joining more clubs and having my radio show.  Only thing I am worried about is taking the CAT in math, to become a full time student. Other than that, I am really enjoying baruch so far. I just want to be a full time student already.

Man its 12:35 and I still have nothing to write about. I can’t think of anything. Hmm, well performing last Friday at mason hall, was pretty fun. Just about all my friend were there.  My friend TJ told me after the show, that I did not look nervous up there on stage. Little did he, that I was terrified up until I got up there on stage. I was about to sneak out and leave, but my friend ariannia came and slapped some sense into me, literally.  When I got up on stage though and started to say my rhyme, I just went with the flow and everything else just came naturally. Surprisingly people really liked it. I thought some one would laugh or throw something at me, cause I have had something like that happen in the past while I was performing, but that’s another long story. I was even more surprised that one of my classmates who I am not going to shout out because she might curse me out, for shouting her out was there. It was surprising cause not a lot of freshmen go to events like this, especially not on a Friday. After the show though, I did what I would usually do if it were a Thursday night. I went to the club area in the VC campus, and got drunk with my friends. We were just chilling there until we deiced to go to this after party that they were having after the show. The only bad thing that happened that night, was that the club where they were having the party at, was only allowing 21 and older to come in. Since I already sobered up, I was slightly pissed but since stuff like that happens all the time to me, I just said whatever. Felt bad for my friend Allen though. He did not want to show it, but he was super pissed. He came all the way from Staten just to get denied from a club. I told him I would make it up to him, but if I were him, I would have punched myself in the face for not warning him. All in all, it was not that bad of a night. At least I was with friends in the end. Dam almost forgot, I still have to write this dam monolog. Now what should I write about.

Community service to me, is just simply helping out a community in any way that is positive to the community. May it be picking up garbage for a certain community, or fixing a house for a certain community. Community service is basically helping out a community in any way possible. I am really looking forward to doing some community service with my fro class because, I have not done community service in a while. The last time I actually worked on a community service project, was in my soft-more year of high school. So it’s a good thing that my fro class is going out to help a community. Hopefully we are gonna paint a building wall or a house, cause I really like to paint. In the end, I just hope that what ever community that we help out, just benefits from the what ever we help them with. It’s not community service if in the end of all our hard work, the community that we were helping, does not benefit in any way to the work that we did. Well any way, I just can’t wait till we start this project. Hopefully, we start as soon as possible.

Who do I think I am. Well, that’s easy, I am that cute half african american/irish kid that has a good heart. Just kidding; I am more of that calm kid that like’s to freestyle and play guitar on his free time. Nope, that’s not right ether. I am just all of these things combined and a little bit more. I really only think I am me. And since I really can’t define accurately what being me is,  given you a little description about myself is probably the bets way to define me. I am the kid who probably is always quiet at first, but when you get to know me, you will learn that I am a lot of fun and I can dance to spanish music really well. I am also that same kid who like’s to get involved  a lot in school activities and events. The most important thing about me though is that I like being the underdog because, I like fighting to prove people wrong. All these  elements basically make up who I am.  And since I have all these things to offer,  I really can’t wait to get involved at Baruch. The only thing that has been  concerning me though, is the assessment test we have to take again in my math. I know most of the professor’s like to think that the only reason why I am a part time student who needs to take the math assessment again, is because they think I slacked off in high school. Well, thats not true. The main reason why I am stuck in this mess is mainly because I am not good at math and I did not take assessment as serious as I should have. I really went in there thinking with a mind set, that all I have to do is just take it. Sadly since I had that mind set in placed, I scored terribly low on the exam. And now I am on a desktop writing about it. Right now, that’s all I am really concerned about moving forward in college. Luckily I am not letting going to let discourage me.  As I said before, I like being the underdog. I love the feeling of proving the people who said you can’t do something wrong. It’s a real good feeling to have and I know that I will become a full time student with the rest of my block.  Sorry I talk a lot though, but to end things off, I guess I am just going to say that college is only going to change me in one way. And that is that it’s going to make me more of an adult at the end of it.
