Time to serve – Faraz
community service is definitely way more important than what most people think of it today. every society needs volunteerism and civic participation. societies won’t just be perfect if no one tries to make them perfect; they won’t be flawless if no one overcomes the problems and helps to build them. doing community service programs and volunteering actually helps ourselves too, it actually makes the teenagers more mature, and helps others in many different ways. in addition, it helps our country and we would actually be serving our country, which is is our duty as citizens.
i think community service can be a very good help for any organ of the country, and the leaders or who ever is in charge of any organ may be one of those in need. therefore i think leadership is in need of community service.
there are many ways to make people want to volunteer more and do community services. some of the ways that are being used are having special college programs ask their students to have community service records in order to be eligible for those programs or to make up something have students and the youth do community service, so why not just increase those and also make other new projects to make people want to volunteer.

Study Tips – Faraz
I was just reading through the tips until i saw ” When guessing, do not change answers”, then i was like “BAAM! that’s definitely for me”. Some people don’t really guess, so they wouldn’t really need to do that, but those who guess on multiple choice questions a lot, like myself (even though do i don’t do it as much anymore), would need to have that on top of their to-do list. there have been times, or better to say most of the times, when i changed my answer when guessing, i lost a point for that question. And therefore, i have learned from my experiences and this page that i shouldn’t change my answer when i decide to guess.
another tip that caught my eye was reading the directions before starting, which is really good and i am sure that everyone can find this one useful at some point. i usually happen to skip the directions and start doing the questions, especially the directions on essay questions. i start writing and about 5 minutes before the time ends, when I’m done writing i go back and see the directions, and notice that i have made a mistake and what i wrote wasn’t what they asked for. sometimes i do get away with it, but the rest of the times i get a bad grade.

Who am I?… too late for that!
Literally too late! first, this was suppose to be done yesterday, and second, it’s too late because all of you have already heard my name like 1672 times so far (thanks to Ms.Brown :]) or know me in person, but I’ll just do this post so you guys could get to know me a little better. I’m the loudest one in the class. I am very hyper and that’s probably the reason for me talking 24/8 and being loud. I am very friendly, so don’t think if you come to talk to me I’ll bite or anything(even though I actually do bite…lol jk). Some people find me funny and the rest vote “annoying”. To rate myself, I must say I’m an average kid(as in grades), meaning, if i take two classes: Rocket-Science in NASA and Kinder garden class of playing Rock-paper-scissors, I will end up with a grade of 85 for both classes . Alright lets cut this explanations for people who don’t pay attention in class and didn’t get it yet and finally go to my name, I am Faraz, named after the great king…the strongest…the coolest…NO BODY! lol, yeah I wasn’t named after anyone :p. I am Persian!.. like the cat? but not like “300″ version one, because they obviously didn’t have any in that movie :p. Three concerns about freshman year? I honestly don’t know, but just to name some stuff i would say, workout, chill with friends and FIND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE….LOL jk :p, the third one would be maybe to grow up a little? since I act like a 5 year old
. I see some differences in in my education already since I moved to college and am not a high school student anymore. Definitely can say they give more work in every class and students HAVE TO study in college, not that I actually sit down and read, but still!. Other than that I could say there are more people in college than high school (usually). I don’t really see me changing a lot! no matter where I am! even though I have noticed myself going through changes lately and NO! college was not the reason, It’s just me having more time thinking about me and my life, all the stupid things that I say everyday, all the things that I do that I shouldn’t have done! alright this is getting a bit too personal :p. that’s it i guess! feel free to follow me on tumblr: Hate, but Obey!, if you wanna know a bit more about me(even though I don’t write much and it’s mostly picture!)
If you have found a grammar or spelling mistake, please call this number (718)82-… jk. It’s okay you don’t have to call any number just correct it in your mind and we’re good to go! After all, everyone makes mistakes and I’m not an exception!
