third session
In the third session we were told about keeping an eye on our Facebooks in the workplace, and the fact that companies are using facebooks to gain information about their employees, such as a woman who called in sick was fired because her boss saw her update her status. I do not agree with this because i believe monitoring someone’s facebook is a violation of their privacy.

second session
In our second session we went to a conference room in Baruch and were shown different majors and the career opportunities that they offered. Very fascinating and helpful in deciding on a possible major and career path choice. I also went to the second part of this session later on.

First session
Our first session was when we went over how much credits we were required to have in order to graduate, and we were given a checklist of all available topics and told how much each is worth and how to choose for minor/major. Not too helpful, I didn’t really understand at that time.

Career Workshop #2
Career Workshop #2 was very helpful. In the session we discussed what majors one should take in order to steer yourself towards the career you want. I learned that if I wanted to do Real Estate, Marketing would be a viable major. I also learned about the necessary credits for the Baruch Business school and the required classes.
