My expirence at baruch has not been what i expeced at all. I thought it was going to be a lot better. I thought i would have a lot more funn but honestly it is soo boring. I wish i went away to college from the very beginning. Im probobly only goin to stay one more semester and go away to Oneonta or something. My first semester was nothing special and i dont really know how a person could change from like 4 months of college. I see no difference been this and highschool besides its a hour and a half away from my house which is horrible. The thing i would of done differently would have been to take this semester at a whole different school completely.

Hey, I am not to good at this free writing thing and I know this monologue is gunna be just as bad but I have to do it so here it goes. I didnt know what to expect from this semester. What friends I would make or how I would do in my classes. But the thing I was wondering the most would be  if I would be able to adjust to life off my little island. On staten island I went to a school that was nothing like this. First we had to wear a uniform everyday so there was no wasting time deciding on what to wear. Second the school was all guys so they acted 100 percent different. The thing I liked the most was the fact that it was only two minutes away from my house which was great. I basically considered my high school like a day care for teenagers. So I was a little scared of how Baruch would be and if  I could handle college. The semester started off a little rocky but I got the hang of it. I’ve met really good friends, my classes are pretty easy and I think I can get used to the city. Hopefully this whole college thing could stay this easy.

Hey my name is Joseph Geritano aka Joey aka the Don. I think im a mad fun kid to hangout with im really funny and i bet i can make anyone laugh unless i dont really like you at all and you know that. I like to workout and party and chill with my friends.  My top three concerns when starting freshman year were am I gunna get lost going to class, will I meet people that have the same personality as me, and is college as hard and scary as all my teachers said it will be. My college expirence is different than highschool because my highschool was private and it was an all guys school. So we had to wear a uniform everyday and there were no girls so college is like a shock. My first year of college will definitely change how i dress because all these kids from manhattan dress so much different than me. After wearing a uniform the past four years all i wanna wear is jordan shorts or sweat pants with my jordan flops and socks. I really dont get why people get so dressed up for school? i mean its school not a party or something.
