What is a fortune cookie? Why do we eat them? For the goodness of the cookie, or for the mystery that lies within the fortune? I once had one at Pinkberry, a frozen yogurt place where i was employed. The cookie wasn’t bad, but the fortune wasn’t for me. Where else would you find a fortune that says “the fortune you seek is in another cookie?” I obviously got a fortune cookie for the fortune. How would that person who made that line feel if they bought a box of chocolate and inside had a paper that said “the chocolate you seek is in another box?” Probably not so well…

so who am i? i am a freshie attending baruch college obviously. honestly, sometimes i like being a wise guy and make a stupid comment. im very friendly to anyone who seems friendly to me. if you give me a bad vibe, i’ll automatically block you out. i was never a hard working student in school. i always do things good enough to get a B. i’d never let myself fall down to a C and never have the motivation to become an A student. this is a hard question…i sometimes don’t know who i am actually. you guys can judge me differently because i can be anything.

The top three concerns i have about my freshman year at baruch is actually trying to become an A student so i can easily transfer out into another school to dorm, meeting new friends, and also gaining experience in everything and get used to the college work.

schooling in baruch is almost like highschool. im still in the city, and going home everyday after school. i want to experience dorming which is why i actually want to transfer out. when i applied to colleges, i wanted to stay in the city. when i started getting my acceptance letters, i actually wanted to dorm but that was a little too late. i want to school outside of new york and be alone, hold more responsibilities and hopefully have a lot more fun.

i think my first year in baruch would actually make me a little more mature. it will also teach me many new things but thats obvious. i hope to meet many more people so i’d have connections in the future all around and finding a job would be so much easier. well thats all i have to say for this blog, nights guys!

so the previous blog was a test to see if this is where i would be writing my stuff since i’m not that familiar with this blogging website. as you may or may not know, i no longer blog about anything. maybe a year ago i would use tumblr but as it became popular i stopped. once in awhile i would blog but into a random account that has no friends and no one knows it’s me. however, since this blog is required and has a bundle of peeps reading my stuff, i honestly won’t blog about anything personal like my problems in life or whatever. also i dont plan to use correct grammer exactly and all that since this is just a blog, i figured that’s too much work. so as you all may know, my name is Jackie Luu and im currently 18. my birthday is on january 8th so i’m probably one of the oldest? unless someone got left back. i worked in pinkberry for about 8 months, from last year september to around june this year? i quit because we got a new shiftlead and i didnt like how she ran things. im not a perfectionist but i like things usually done right. many team members weren’t capable of maintaining the store how it should be which got pretty frustrating. although the workers didn’t do things like how they should, most of them were extremely cool people to be around. yeah i feel like this is getting too long for nothing so i’ll just about finish up. i play handball, basket ball (not as often anymore but im still a shooter), ping pong and bowling. i have an interest in cars, i got my license a month after i turned 17 and i took drivers ed in highschool so i can get my class d at 17, not dj. i used to be a little into shoes but now i only collect airmax95′s. i also plan to transfer out in a year, hopefully my gpa will be good enough. well this is beginning to get worse than our reading for english so i’ll probably end it here. btw i don’t think i had a summer anthem so…yeah. laters!
