Email to Professor
Dear Professor Chambre
I’ve read the email about your expanded office hours for the second exam preparation and I want to make an appointment to meet you at 2:10 pm on November 2nd. I hope you can give me some suggestion on how to review our work for the coming exam. Can you please reply me about itwhen you are convenient? Thank you for your time.

1. Tell us who you think YOU are!
I’m a freshmen student in Baruch College who is trying my best to get on the track of my new life. I know it is hard and it will be hard for me, but I will not give up! I always believe I will be successful in the future if I always try my best to make everything done well and never give up even I meet great hard time.
2. Share your top 3 concerns about your freshman year at Baruch College and explain why.
Above all, what I most concern about is my GPA since it brings great effect on my further education field and also my resume. Second, I also concern my networking in my college life a lot because I really need great networking to help me to get better and better. I believe great networking will also makes my life more significant and enjoyable. Third, I concern about my language because it brings a hard time for me. I know that I have to open my mouth and not be shy to speak English. I know it is the way to get better on my GPA and also my networking.
3. So far, what do you think will make your Baruch College experience different from your high school experience?
First thing I feel Baruch College experience different from your high school experience is that almost everyone speak fluent English in Baruch college. I still can not get used to it because in high school, I speak a lot Chinese and a little English. Then, I also think that there is much more work in college for us to do. When I was in high school, I got time to play a lot, work a lot during my school days. Even I spent a little time on study, I still got very high grades. However, now in college, I have to spend almost time in study or I will not catch up. In addition, we have to be exactly independent on our study. We have to do a lot of work by ourselves since we only meet our professors twice a week.
4. How do you think your first year at College will change you?
I believe my first year college will change me a lot because I am giving my best effort to improve myself in every way. For instance, I spend more and more time on my study which I believe will bring me great information and knowledge that are useful and valuable for my academic success. Also, it will change to my personality a lot since now I am trying to make more and more friends and being kind to all of them. I also will be more independent and diligent after my first year college since I did pay a lot effort in order to get good grades in class. I believe I will improve myself a lot.
