Post-Monologue
I think my monologue came out pretty well. I showed everyone that I am a very serious individual especially when it comes down to academics and to my future. Other than that I showed what sort of person I am, interested in many things, just as a poly-math. I also saw that I kind of lack creativity in my writing compared to other’s works. I’m more direct and goal driven as a result.
Freshman Seminar was a success because everyone could pitch in their stories, voices, and anything they would like to say and find out about Baruch. Its a great program for newbies coming into Baruch, such as ourselves. The writings that we did in the classroom on Wednesdays was a bit more than of a reflection because we were telling ourselves how we felt about Baruch and all relevant things with out life. It was also pretty interesting to see how the monologue came out created purely from the reflections. Anyways I would like to thank Katherine and Misu for supervising and being the best peer mentors in the best freshman seminar. LC09!!
