The first I went to admission office is in the summer of 2011. I needed to hand in my immunization form. I don’t why there are so many people there during the summer time, maybe they all have problems with the admission. I signed my name in a sheet and waited for them to call me. After a while they call my name in a pretty good way(since most of the American cannot call  Chinese name correctly People were nice there and they took my form and told me that you’re fine now. In general,my first experience there is good.

My second time there is to prove my resident. I went there for three times and finally solve the problem. Every time they got different people to receive my documents so it may slow down the precess. Anyway, I prove it finally. In general,people there are nice and thing can be solved anyway. That’s my experience in the admission office.

My name is Zhuyao Chen and my English name Brandon. In Chinese, my name sounds like “pig monster,” I like this nickname because it defines my characteristics. I am a lazy guy who never do hourse work at home; I always finish my homework until the last minue; I love to sleep until noon for weeken…..All right, I know I am lazy, but I can overcome it. I don’t really like to think about things in a deeper way because I believe life should be as easy as possible. I will try to do anything to make my life easier.

I never go out for sport except my friends call me to do so. My favorite sport is basketball, I love to watch NBA basketball games because even I can not play basketball well. My favorite reading is about history, expecially Chinese history. Since it is a long history, I can find lots of interesting things from it. I love to play computer games, my favorite online game is World is Warcraft, I spend a lot of free time in this game. I also love to watch Japanese Anime, and collecting their OP and ED….When I got home, I always spend time to play games first, wathch animes later and doing HW at the end of the day….Good for me.

Then….then…what should I say….all right, if I can not think about anything to write, I would stop here, life should be as easy as possilbe…Don’t force yourself.

That’s so funny! When those actors read the monologues we cannot stop laught. The writer of the monologues write in a funny way and the readers read in a funnytone. Of couse, some of the monolugues have sad story. I was pretty angry when I heard the story of bullet a girl.  I hope all of our freshmen can have a good school life in baruch college and in their own daily life. As a freshmen we enjoy our first year of school. I hope we can also enjoy the rest years of the college. Good luck everyone!!!

This is a very good workshop which provides lots of useful information about manage your money. The speaker is from columbia university. He leading the audience to realize that we are wasting money all the time. So in general he talks about how to invest, about bank account,and skills to protect yourself. What we should learn is to have a good life with less spending of money.
His manily foucus is on credit card. Losts of students drop out from the college because of their lack of ability to use their credit cards in good way. So if you don’t manage your credit card well it may cause your degree. Since I don’t use credit card now I feel kind of safe, but in the future I will use it anyway. Therefore I have to learn skills to manage my money and credits.

I got lots of valueble information from the meeting of class scheduling event. Since I am interesting in a major of accounting, I need a BBA title. So I need Ecomonic, law and business courses. I also heard a good news that the math will be no more if I finish math2207. Antro and political science will be also done after this fall. Now I am waiting for the date of scheduling, I hope I can find a best schedule for myself and enjoy my freshmen year!

My name is Zhuyao Chen, English name Brandon. If you ask me who I am, I will say that I am just a normal college student. I came to America four years ago and finished my high school here.
As a freshmen, surely I got many concerns about my school life. My first concren is that I am worry about my grade. I heard people said that it is important to get a high GPA in freshmen year because once you get a low gpa it is hard to bring it up. I am not sure that whether I can do it or not. I cam eto USA just four years so my english is not so good, I hope I can follow every course, I hope I can try my best to get a good grade.
My second concren is that can I make friends in college. I am kind of shy so I never talk to people until they come and talk to me first. Friends are important in our life, so I hope I can make more good friends.
My third concren is that since I got English 2100T, I need to get up so early, sometime I am late for 5 mins so I have to wait 10mins for the next subway. I hope I can get used to the early class.
I think the difference between high school and college is that I need to spend time to study by myself in college. In high school I can just listen to the teacher only in class and still get a good grade. But in college what I learned in class is not enough, I need to go home and spend time to study. That is a huge difference.
I think my first year will change me a lot. I need to focus more in study . I think I will improve my english. I also think that I will become more outgoing. I may also overcome my laziness a little bit. Anyway, first year is a good beginning.
