Dear Peer- Review group,
You guys have definitely been helpful throughout the semester. All three of you guys have given me crucial advice that helped me further improve my essay. Throughout the writing process, it’s always helpful to have another eye take a look. My group members were able to point out weak points in my writing that I myself didn’t notice. For instance, during the peer review of unit 1, my group members emphasized on how my analysis of the show and the scenes were weak. I talked about a song in the chosen episode, however I didn’t zoom in and analyze properly. My group members gave me helpful comments like this throughout the semester.
The feedback I received from Prof. Graves was also extremely helpful. The major themes that Prof. Graves talked about was more analysis of the show, more personal examples and a specific research topic. In order to further improve y writing process, I feel like I should have more people look at my writing for review and also look at it at least three times myself. I have learned numerous things about my cultural artifact which was SpongeBob SquarePants and my research topic which is the positive influence of children television on the skills of children. My final plans for this paper are to change the previous research topic in my last draft which was too generalized and make it more specific as the topic I just listed before. I have learned that my writing process is well organized but can definitely be improved. My academic attentions moving forward are to continue to get excellent grades in my classes and keep up a good GPA.
I want to thank you for helping me grow as an individual in this class. Your feedback has mean’t a lot to me. I hope for the best for the rest of your college career and forward.
i thought that professor Garves class focused in in analysis aswell. Good luck on trying to keep a good gpa. I thought the spongebob artifact was intresting.
