For this upcoming paper, I intend to research heavily any biological proof for the need of a father. When taking Psychology in high school, I learned that there are many innate tendencies human babies have that show reliance on a mother, what proof is there that shows the innate need of a father? Moreover, I plan on researching the development of young adults who grew up without a father. I will make sure to keep the variables of gender and environ (country/city and economic situation) in mind when looking into this information. In an ideal world, I would be able to simply find many statistics that are valid and consistent to find a correlation between the absence of a father figure and human development, but I am aware that this proposal may be more qualitative than quantitative, so I plan on conducting research by myself in interviewing people who grew up without a father and then evaluating their experiences.
