The cultural artifact “SpongeBob SquarePants” had a major theme of optimism. That is exactly what I intend to conduct research on. Optimism is yet another way to describe hope. I plan to conduct research on the concept of hope and different surveys that may be able to portray the relationship between hope in one’s live and the impact of hope on the individual’s lifestyle. I also plan to research the scientific side of this topic. Is there any scientific way to find out if a person is optimistic or pessimistic? What medical research can support this? Also, I plan to research the theme of optimism in children’s shows and how it has affected the children who watched shows such as SpongeBob square pants? I plan to do my research by looking up different surveys, different medical research, articles, reliable website, peer reviewed articles and videos.
