Some of the discourse communities in which I am a part of are student, Westchester resident, arts and crafts enthusiast, and casual artist. In closest relation to my artifact, the discourse community I choose is casual artist. It supports the purpose of my artifact, as it suggests that the community itself is a hobby, and not intended to be a serious, full-time occupation, although it certainly can be. My artifact is a video on a platform where anyone who can access the site can upload their created content. As a viewer who shares the same hobby as the content my artifact contains, I agree with this community, supporting the activity of other artists in what they chose to do.
