Adopted by the Security Council at its 7815th meeting, on 10 December, 2016
The Security Council,
Reaffirming the necessity for justice, and the determination in protecting sovereignty, political independence, territorial integrity and unity of Ukraine.
Affirming that all of the members have accepted the conditions of the Charter of the United Nations and confirm to act on what is established in the Charter.
- Insists on compliance with the principles of the Charter of the United Nations requiring peace and respect of the Nations territorial integrity.
- Urges Ukraine to authorize the Crimea realizing a new referendum and a true show of peace, stability and regain the trust of the citizens of Crimea.
- Decides to remain actively seized of the matter.
