Atlético Correa scores equalizer against Barca

Barcelona’s draw against Atletico at the Nou Camp was the least worrisome, as the concerning sight of Lionel Messi exiting the pitch with a groin injury set the alarm for the cules. The fixture ended in a draw at the Nou Camp, but watching the performance by both teams, it was no surprise.

Seeing the fantastic match played by Barcelona during the first half, the results were unexpected. The azulgranas maintained ball possession, applied pressure at the back not allowing Simeone’s men to counterattack.

Barcelona was able to recover the ball in the halfway line, Pique almost became a midfielder, seeing that the rivals were drilled at the back operating as a defensive unit, Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto were operating at the wings. While the Barca fans enjoyed, Atletico had no idea where the wind was blowing from.
