Resolution 2320 (2016)
Adapted by the Security Council at its 7815 meeting, on 10 December, 2016
The Security Council,
Reaffirming the need of a just peace, and the determination of preserving the sovereignty, the political independence, the unity and the territorial integrity of Ukraine,
Affirming that all the members, at the point of accepting charter from the United Nations, agree to compromise and act as stated in the charter,
- Dwells in the compliance of all the principals in the United Nations charter, as they have been bound to act as establish the peace and respect towards the territorial integrity of the nations,
- Urges Ukraine to authorize the Crimea Peninsula to create a new referendum with a truthful, peaceful atmosphere and public safety in order to set the legal character on this decision for the citizens of Crimea.
- Decides to remain actively seized of the matter.
