Adopted by the Security Council at its 7815th meeting, on 10 December, 2016

 

The Security Council,

               Emphasizing the need for just peace and determination to preserve sovereignty, political independence, unity and the territorial integrity of Ukraine,

              Reaffirming all member countries, upon accepting the United Nations Charter, have taken the commitment to act in accordance with what is established in the charter,

  1. Insists on the compliance that the principles of the United Nations Charter require to establish peace and respect for the territorial integrity of all countries;
  2. Urges Ukraine to authorize the Crimean Peninsula for an implementation of a new referendum in an environment conductive to real peace and public security so that in that same manner to give legality to the decision of the citizens of Crimea,
  3. Decides to remain actively seized of the matter.

Introduction

 

                  Adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) is one of cardiology’s fastest growing subgroup in recent years due to early diagnosis and advances in surgical and endovascular treatment. It has been calculated that 85-90% of patients diagnosed with congenital heart disease will reach adulthood. The survival of these patients generates complications and consequences that result in greater hospitalization rates and new surgeries among other procedures.

It is estimated that about 5-10% of patients with ACHD will develop pulmonary hypertension (PH) in its progression, making in the most frequent cause for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), after connective tissue disease. Its emergence is related to a worse prognosis for the patient.

The objective of this study was to analyze the epidemiological characteristics, clinical, and pharmacological treatment of patients with PAH as well as their survival rate.

I think that the commercial in english has a diversity of people because I see african americans, caucasians, asians, and hispanics. The commercial focuses on more on what a breakfast is consisted of and how I hop offers that. I think this commercial is for people that were born here and have grown up with the idea that breakfast consists of orange juice, pancakes, eggs. etc.

 

I think the commercial in spanish is trying to sell to the hispanic community in the United States. The characters in the commercial all look like they are latino. This commercial focuses on things that lations might like such as tiramisu and bananas, and encourages them to try it. Also I think the hispanic culture cares a lot of what others have to say and word of mouth, that’s why they have the people in the commercial encouraging the audience to try their pancakes.

Atlético Madrid didn’t have a chance to breathe and Simeone was only able to relax once back at the locker rooms.

Culés’ ball recoveries took place in the front of the opponent’s area. Pique who acted as a midfield player, made sure that their rivals couldn’t cross the dividing line. While in the sidelines Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto were excellent wingbacks. Camp Nou had a good time and Atlético wondered where the stroke of luck was coming from.

Google Translator Vs. Humans

Google translator es una buena herramienta que tiene sus ventajas y desventajas tambien. Hoy quiero analizar algunas de las caracteristicas que hacen a google de esta manera. Primero, Google translator es capaz de traducir oraciones largas y tambien parrafos en un instante. Aunque pueda hacer esto, las traducciones no son muy precisas. Pueden ayudar porque te dan una idea de lo que el texto esta hablando, pero, google translator no tiene un buen conocimiento de la gramatica y de la estructura de las oraciones. Desafortunadamente esto puede hacer la traduccion muy confusa de entender. Tambien tiene el poder de cambiar el significado del texto porque cambia las palabras del orden corecto. Por ejemplo, yo escribi en la maquina “Next to the governor are the words racist, homophobe and moron.” Google tradujo esto a ” Al lado de la imagen son las palabras racista,etc.”  El significado aunque mal escrito tiene sentido porque usando nuestro conocimeinto podemos entenderle lo que quiere decir. De cualquier manera la gramatica de la traduccion esta incorecta. Por eso google translator es una buena herramienta si necesitamos traducir algo simple como textos brevios o incluso solo palabra por palabra. Esta herramienta si puede servir como un suplemento, pero no nos podemos confiar completamente de ella. Para hacer traducciones mejores y con gramatica correcta, se necesitan a los humanos.

Mi nombre es Cynthia y vengo de Ecuador (Que viva Ecuador!). Vine a este pais cuando tenia 8 anos junto a mi madre. Afortunadamente a mi me tomo como 2 anos poder aprender el ingles. Aun haci hasta el dia de hoy cometo muchos errores traduciendo de ingles a espanol y vice versa. Hay muchos cognados con que me enfrentado y avecez todavia me confundo con ellos. Incluso en nuestra primera leccion me sorprendi mucho de algunos falsos cognados. Hay palabras que no sabia que eran cognados, pero me da mucha alegria poder aprenderlos para estar mas informada.

No me acuerdo mucho de haber tenio un incidente con elllos pero me aseguro que si me ha pasado sin yo haberme dando en cuenta que estaba cometiendo un error. Lo que si me acuerdo es que si le ha pasado a mi pobre padre. Hace 5 anos, mi mama se embarazo con mi hermano que se llama Adriel. Un dia todos fuimos al doctor para un examen de ultra sonido. Al momento que llegamos, mi papa queria hacerle unas preguntas al doctor. Mi papa sabe un poco de ingles entonces trato de hablar con el doctor. Lo que le pregunto fue, ” Do you have any vitamins that are good for her since she is embarassed?” El doctor se vio muy confundido y se demoro en decir algo por unos 30 segundos. Ahi es cuando yo ayude a mi papa y le dije al doctor que mi papi queria decir “pregnant”. Todos nos reimos un poquito, tambien mi papi auque el estaba deverdadmente “embarassed.” Pero yo se que hasta el dia de hoy el ya no va a cometer el mismo error.
