Washington, D.C. – Recently we experience extreme cold, record high, temperatures that affected a large part of the United States, even though the temperatures have risen in the past few days, we are just getting started with winter and need to be prepared for the next wave of inclement weather
In fact, doctors (MDs) say that freezing temperatures can cause harm to people’s health. “Is better to limit your outdoor activities since exposure for long periods of time can cause froze bite and hypothermia”, Said Dr. John Marshall president of the ER at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. “Both conditions can be serious, and even potentially lethal if not treated”.
