Recently we have experienced record breaking weather conditions which devastated a great part of the United States, and even though temperatures have risen in the last couple of days, we are only in the beginning of the winter and we need to be prepared for the next wave of extremely low temperatures.
As a matter of fact, doctors say that freezing temperatures could be of risk to health. It is better to limit your activities outdoors since the prolonged exposure could lead to frost bite and hypothermia says Dr. John Marshall, president of emergency medicine in Maimonides Medical Center in New York. Both conditions could potentially be fatal if not treated.
